What Lawvoo is

Lawvoo is a free directory of solicitors. It helps you find a solicitor by area of law and place, see where their office is and what they work on, and check them on the regulator's public register before you get in touch. In the UK we list solicitors in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, by area of law and by city, and we add firms over time.

Lawvoo is not a law firm. We don't give legal advice, we don't recommend one solicitor over another, and using the site doesn't create a solicitor-client relationship with us.

Who runs it

How listings work

• Names, roles, office addresses and practice areas come from each firm's own website.
• Every listing links to the regulator's public register — the SRA, the Law Society of Scotland or the Law Society of Northern Ireland — so you can check the firm yourself.
• Years of experience are shown only when the firm publishes them; otherwise the profile says "Not published".
• We don't publish star ratings, reviews or testimonials, and we never write them ourselves.

How Lawvoo is paid for

Listed firms are not Lawvoo partners and haven't paid to appear. No one can pay to be shown higher. Sending an enquiry through Lawvoo is free for you.

Corrections

If something on a listing or a page is wrong, email us and we'll fix it. Solicitors can ask us to update or remove their listing at any time — update or remove a listing.
